Thank you for you posting tips here ! I just got a xcarve and I didnt know about adjusting the settings on Dewalt 611 .I was wondering what that harsh sound was,now the wood sounds “good” getting cut (I cant explain it lol) ,Now I am getting cleaner cuts .Thank you again for helping others learn , Christopher

Tried the settings for oak according to the spreadsheet and was very pleased! That’s around .03 plunge and 100 in/min with 2 flute straight bit. Router speed at 1 1/2 (16500) rpms. No deflection or chatter.
