I saw material being used for signs at Jo-anns. I didn’t see any body that could be asked. anyone know?

What material did you see being used at Jo-Anns? My wife goes there all the time.
I know they have basswood blocks, as does Michaels, perhaps he’s referring to that… basswood is great for carving by hand, I’ve never tried anything substantial on the XC using basswood.
I don’t thinks it’s basswood/linden wood. Try butternut it great carving.
