SOLVED: Image trace problem/question

Sorry for the bad quality photo, but I’m trying to do just a cut out of a cancer ribbon and every time I upload an image I like, I get this result.

I need it to just cut out the outside line, but with every image I try to trace in easel it gives me two separate lines, inner and outer.

Not sure if I’m doing something wrong? Or if it’s just the files I’m choosing.

Any info would be great.

You can double click the shape to see the edit points. Then select the edit points on the line you don’t want and delete them.
