ok

Are you doing this;
Open the Arduino IDE

Go to File - Examples - EEPROM - eeprom_clear
Click it,

Find this line,

for ( int i = 0 ; i < EEPROM.length() ; i++ )

MUST BE CHANGED TO

for ( int i = 0 ; i < 1024; i++ )

After upload finish, close Arduino IDE, open XLoader , Make sure all your settings are correct
Device = Uno(ATmega328)
Baud rate 115200
Load HEX file name = grbl0_9i_X_Carve_500mm_ACME.hex

Close XLoader and start Easel, run machine setup.

That what I did and I started to run production.

If you don’t have any of those loaders or HEX file, let me know I can give you links.

Yes Ido it latterly
After flashing the Aurdoino it give me all done
But when I try it ,it give me the same $$
Even when I clear the Eeprom I test it before flashing the hex file it give my like nothing happened also it still gives command for xcarve enlarging the steps

I wight this machine for more than month and after 3 days assembling it works ones .
And now I’m trying to fix it
I feel so depressed.

@MohammadKokash you can also change the settings one at a time in Universal G Code sender by typing $#=# For example if you wanted to change the value for steps/mm on your x axis you woul type:

$100=40

You can do this for each setting and get your machine working in 20 minutes or so.

What is the value for all axis?

Here is mine;

$0=10 (step pulse, usec)
$1=255 (step idle delay, msec)
$2=0 (step port invert mask:00000000)
$3=3 (dir port invert mask:00000011)
$4=0 (step enable invert, bool)
$5=0 (limit pins invert, bool)
$6=0 (probe pin invert, bool)
$10=3 (status report mask:00000011)
$11=0.050 (junction deviation, mm)
$12=0.002 (arc tolerance, mm)
$13=0 (report inches, bool)
$20=0 (soft limits, bool)
$21=0 (hard limits, bool)
$22=1 (homing cycle, bool)
$23=3 (homing dir invert mask:00000011)
$24=25.000 (homing feed, mm/min)
$25=750.000 (homing seek, mm/min)
$26=250 (homing debounce, msec)
$27=1.000 (homing pull-off, mm)
$100=40.000 (x, step/mm)
$101=40.000 (y, step/mm)
$102=188.976 (z, step/mm)
$110=8000.000 (x max rate, mm/min)
$111=8000.000 (y max rate, mm/min)
$112=500.000 (z max rate, mm/min)
$120=500.000 (x accel, mm/sec^2)
$121=500.000 (y accel, mm/sec^2)
$122=50.000 (z accel, mm/sec^2)
$130=790.000 (x max travel, mm)
$131=790.000 (y max travel, mm)
$132=100.000 (z max travel, mm)

Not the mention, I have 1000 mm X-Carve. If yours 500MM values totally different. But Easel Machine setup changing those values for your suit anyway. Don’t be surprise if you see different values very next time after Machine setup.

thanks for your positive response
now easel working good in small size
but in y axis maximum travel is 300 mm no more

ok

my machine is 1000 mm xcarve

If you setup your machine for 1000 and still doing it, seems like you didn’t change your work area. You can go machine menu, change your work area for like 800 by 800. See if it works.

I do it but no more than 300mm

I was having same problem. The instructions here cleared it up for me.
Thanks.

This also solved my eeprom issues …now working like a champ. Thanks Tait.

You got it, John. Happy carving!

Sounds great man.
Thanks heaps for the advice and the explanation.
I shall give it a go and get back to you as soon as I can.
