I am looking to replace my Makita trim router with a spindle router. It will last longer, operate quieter and hopefully perform better. My question is, can the X-controller be used with a spindle router and will the stepper motors that came with the 1000x1000 X-CARVE be adequate to handle the extra weight? I bought my X-Carve new in 2022 and have not added any other upgrades to it.
