I cant seem to get the settings right. Can anyone help?
I’m using a 60 degree V bit. Ive tried deeper cuts, more shallow cuts. Tried “Clear out a pocket”, “cut on shape path”, “Cut outside shape path” and “Cut inside shape path”.
The image generated always looks off… Anyone out there able to share the settings they used? TY!
when I carved this I used the cut type “clear out a Pocket” but left the outer circle set to Outside the path and cut that one using an endmill to cut the shape out.
I carved my pockets to 1 or 1.5mm depth using a 90deg vbit. and it took a few hours (4-5hrs) to carve at the 24x24 size that I did mine…
