My latest X-Carve project: a replica Star Wars blaster! Just a few more details and it’ll be ready to ship to the client. They wanted to paint it so primer gray it is!

Did you glue the ridges onto the barrel?

I was doing a little kit bashing this spring and adding primer grey to anything makes it look awesome. @SeanKeplinger I love it.

The barrel is a piece of 1 1/4" PVC with slightly modified couplers on both ends. The ridges are pieces of craft foam cut into strips and attached with contact cement. Here’s the before paint picture to help clarify:
