I didn’t measure because I was following the instructions letter for letter, but when I was done it sure seemed like I had enough cut off belt left over to make a whole belt. If not, it wasn’t short by very much at all.
Suggestion: Make sure the supplied belting is long enough to make four belts. Change the instructions to have the user cut it into FOUR equal pieces. They end up with three belts to build the machine and a SPARE.
Just a thought inspired by the several much-too-short-to-use-but-look-like-they’d-add-up-to-a-full-belt-length-together scraps on my bench.
