SVG Grouping and Ungrouping

I request for Easel to go by the SVG v1.1 standard for grouping of objects. The element in SVG code is

Should go like this:

  1. More then one element selected.
    Edit tab menu should have “Group” option available.
    Only one object selected, that’s not grouped, Edit tab menu would show no group or ungroup options available.
  2. One object selected that is grouped.
    Edit tab menu should have “Ungroup” option available.
    Ungroup selected, items would be ungrouped and highlighted. If one object was a nested group, Ungroup option would not be available unless it was the only one highlighted or selected.
