I am attempting to bring over a file that measures just over 40 inches long, but inside of easel it shrinks to about 10. Is there a better way of bringing over accurate data for precision cutting or are we just SOL.
the scaling of a svg file depends on the type of svg and what the scaling units were when exported. I forget what the correct settings need to be for illustrator as I do not use it, but figure those out and it should import properly.
note: this is not just an easel issue, importing svg files saved in one software into another software commonly results in scaling issues.
