Svg's of the united states that fit together well

Hello Folks,
I am looking to make Svg’s of the united states into an approximate 48" x 60" pattern that fit together well.
I am using the site

They download very easily, but I am having trouble getting some of them to fit together.

is it possible that the pieces do not fit together as a result of round inside corners not fitting with squared outside corners? This is the nature of a spinning bit and often effects puzzle assembly if not taken into account during the design phase.

not sure, just seems like the pieces are not proportional to one another?

I drew this one over a year ago, I cut it out and I think I corrected all the mistakes.

Thanks Russel, going to make for my daughter! might see if I can add and overlay of the three major trails, PNW, CD, APC as her boyfriend has hiked all three.
