Is there a way to change the placement of tabs on an item that is cut through or at least preempt the management of tabs in the vector somehow? Some of the tabs placed for me are not in the most optimum positions… see image:

Maybe integrate the tabs into your design until they can add this.
Not right now. Another approach would be to mill all but 0.001" or 0.002" and then break the part free with your hands.
I find it works better than tabs.
