We’ve been hearing a lot from teachers that they are sharing information with each other on Twitter. We thought that was pretty cool because it’s a public forum and brings conversations that might normally happen at professional development conferences or through personal relationships into the public. As you can see from the map of where schools have already started using Easel X-Carve and Carvey this is happening all over the country not just in select cities like San Francisco, New York, or Chicago.
This morning we decided we’d like to help facilitate those connections so we have started adding the Twitter Handles of the school and Maker Lab or STEM teacher onto our map. This will make it easier for you to find the other like minded folks in your region or across the country. To show how it works we used Jeff Solin over at Lane Tech. He was one of our first educator customers. Lane Tech is a really big high school so they have more than one Twitter handle. They have the @LTmakers and Jeff has his own twitter so we linked to both.
We’re searching right now to find all the Twitter handles but if you want to reply to this thead with yours we’ll get you added quicker.
I hope this facilitates some good conversation.
Thanks!
Zach
