Ten Penny Puzzle

I saw this online and thought it would be a good time killer for my son. Fast carve, less than a five minute project, hours of fun after. The object is to get all ten pennies in the center square. All pennies must be touching the lower plane with no overlapping. Depth of cut was .06 inches.

Doesn’t appear possible

Yet it is. :exploding_head:

Either you’ve got one of those genius brains and just see stuff… or you’ve seen this before!

When it’s in your hands, you’ll figure it out.

I read the directions wrong. Somehow I saw that 4 pennies had to touch the bottom edge… they just gotta fit. I may have to make this!

A penny is 19.05mm in diameter.
Pocket (in theory) should be 64.27mm square.

Ok, that is flippin’ cool. I now have exactly one use for this information but now I have a tool. Some day I’ll have a question or a problem that I have the answer to. Awesome thanks man!
