We are actively working on an issue where it is difficult to edit text in Easel text elements. Each character typed replaces previous characters.

Status: Resolved

Known workarounds: An Easel user, @SeanMorrish, reports that you can click into the text box after every character typed to avoid losing characters.

Update: We’ve identified a fix. We’re testing it for release.
