Your project is not actually shared publicly. You would need to use the ‘COMBINE’ command to do what you are attempting. The ‘COMBINE’ command can be found under the right click or EDIT menus with items selected.

Combine will join all individual letters together as one object

Have you tried to cut it yet?
Cut it last night
Added Support Tabs manually at all loose ends of letters
Worked pretty well - only one serif lost due to “Cheap” plywood!!

@MartinGutzmer have you tried the tape and CA glue method to hold down your project. This looks like it would be the perfect project. No tabs required

Did a successful cut today!!
I would like the letters thicker.
