The two stage cut works like a charm! I advise anyone testing it to update the machine to grbl 0.9, as well as clearing the EEPROM thru the arduino interface :slight_smile: Thanks to the Inventables crew, you guys rule! :slight_smile:

I actually got luck carving a tiger image for my sons Cub Scout pack. I was able to change bits, re-zero and finish the project. The only part that was bad was it had to run the whole cut process even though only a small amount of materials was removed on the second pass.
I would love to see new software for this
