Two Stage Takes Longer?

Running a one stage carve on this with my settings and a 1/8" bit it projects 15 minutes cut time. If I go to a two stage with a 1/2" or 1/4" roughing and the same 1/8" finish it takes 3 min (1/4") and 48 min with the 1/8".

I got to be missing something. Go ahead and make me feel dumb! I know its coming…

Cut settings are different, but it stillends up longer.
Checked gCode…your detail pass is raising to a safe height before each plunge (not doing that when the 1/8th is the only bit). Seems like a bug to me.
I’d split it into two operations.
