which type of wood i should use for the x-carve whats the best option for that and also do i need to buy extra bit for the foam.
Your X carve can cut most any wood type and density. I’ve carved hard maple without any problems. Your feed setting and depth of cut should be adjusted to how hard the wood is. You’ll find less dense woods can be cut faster. I never cut foam so I can’t answer that part.
I just use a 1/8 straight bit for foam. Works great for a nice clean cut
