I’ve noticed about doing this with a couple projects that the surface is not always even and smooth. It is an 1/8 inch upcut bit. What am I doing wrong, what’s the issuePhotos will be uploaded.
An upcut bit will leave a ragged edge at the top of the carve, downcut will do the opposite. Try a straight flute
Ok will do. Thanks
Wood grain and moisture, end mill cutter sharpness and X/Y/Z flex can all add to this.
It also looks like, looking at the toolpathing marks, that your bed is not even. Did you surface your wasteboard? This could also be bow/cupping in the wood.
So Just updating you guys, My wasteboard was uneven, so I did resurface it. Lost my marks but I guess it’s better than giving crappy work out. Thanks Guys.
