I was trying to assemble my xcarve and the lead screw on the x axis dropped out of its position. I tried to put it back but it won’t screw in the and the hole is too tight to just push it back up. I took a pic of how far it goes and there’s about a 3/4” gap left. This is on the upgraded z axis and it came assembled unlike the standard z axis.
Unfortunately I’ve seen this issue reported a few times over in Facebook… you’ll have to disassemble the stepper motor from the top in order to access the coupler to tighten the set screw which holds that lead screw to the stepper…
