Using a v bit to carve a sign in Easel

Mates:
I am a newbie, Carved my first sign last night. I was forced to use a 1/16 bit as the 1/8 bit would not make all the cuts.
Is there a way to use a v bit when it calls for a 1/16 bit and have the project come out?

Any help would be appreciated.
I got the x-carve second hand. thus I have not put in the time as the rest of you.
Naturally looking for short cuts.

F Engrave is a great, free program that will generate v-bit G code.

I can’t find it right now but there some great threads on using F Engrave.

The only way I’ve seen it done is to go alittle bigger to get away from the 1/16th bit .
