Used Easel software while in the laser mode with the FoxAlien 4040EX. The laser seemed to work OK except it did not turn off when moving to the next portion of the carve. That would be normal since it does not turn off the spindle when moving. My question is could I have damaged the laser, since now it won’t turn on when using laserGRBL?
Running the laser at max power is not a good practice and it can prematurely kill the laser module. However one use is not likely to cause this…
When you changed the 4040xe from spindle to Laser, did you change $32 from 0 to 1?
