V-carved lasy Susan for the misses

Bought a cheap pine round and a lazy Susan base from Lowe’s this is what I came up with last night. First time in about 6 months cleaned the shop and fired up the x-carve.

The skull and the border are vectors from a google search , the texture is done with the aspire texture tool.

Awesome

Is the finish a gray or blue wash?

It’s a bright teal dry brushed, on top of flat black krylon then weathered with 400 grit and a top coat of minwax walnut stain.

Very nice job of getting the round flat so you could do the v-carve. I have used those rounds in the past and they are not all that level or flat. Nice job!
