V. cut tool (60) cut depth..Easel Pro

V. cut tool (60) It doesn’t seem to matter how deep I set the carving, when I use my 60 degree, it only cuts to about 3 mm. If it needs a wider line, it just keeps cutting wider, but at same depth. I have set depth anywhere from 1 mm to 6 mm, but only cuts to 3 mm.

Hey Mike, Is this issue on a newer version X-Carve, with the linear Rail Z axis by chance?

Thanks for the reply. No, I’m using Open Builds 1010 machine. It’s really confusing because I had just run a program and the V cut way too deep at about 7mm. Not sure what my settings were but I’m sure it was not 7 mm.
