V-wheels floating

When going to do weekly maintenance, went to adjust a couple of the wheels on the slide, but even at max tightness they still don’t completely seat against the rail. As the router goes side to side , one wheel in particular just floats. Just needing to replace some wheels???

You should have the eccentric nuts on one side or the other, but not both. I would check to make sure that is the case. You want the wheels tight enough to just turn under hand pressure.

That is the case. But still only tighten up to a certain point
