Not sure how many others have done a Vectric Paradise Box, but it’s a free project on their website, and IMHO it’s a pretty decent starter project if you’ve never tried anything already built from Vectric.
I was building a keepsake box for a charity event, so that people could write words of encouragement etc… for the family and so I decided to try out the Paradise Box. I hacked the top cover to include a logo in the center and a commemoration under the lid, but other than that I used the directions as provided by Vectric.
As long as your machine is dialed in, the tolerances are perfect and the box snaps together like Lego’s, just some sanding, glue, clamps and a hinge.
I’d definitely recommend giving it a try, pretty fun…
