Hello, I’m going to start carving some graphite molds but there is no option for graphite in the material type in easel. What option should I choose when carving into graphite and if anyone knows whick bits work best on graphite?
That might be something to talk to the endmill manufacturer about, or just do some Googling for good feeds/ speeds.
I cannot recall if I have ever seen a post on here where someone has milled graphite; a quick search might pull up something.
Whatever you do though, make sure you have REALLY GREAT dust extraction/ filtration going …
