Does anyone know which wire is the ground on the 90w supply? I can’t seem to find the original instruction
Its the 90w that came with the original Shapeoko 2. I’m wanting to use it for something else, and can’t remember if the stripe is positive or negative…
It basically looks like a laptop power brick.
In a majority of the power supplies I have worked with, the marked (striped) wire is positive. I’m sure there is one out there where that isn’t the case, but is what I personally would start with.
Guessing may ruin your project. Test it with a DVM, or get someone to test it for you.
Thats what finally dawned on me. Tested it and found the stripe was the positive as RickSchmalzried said.
