Wooden storage box for children

Hi all

I am thinking of making some wooden storage boxes for my children’s bedroom. I was looking at sliding lid opening but a little unsure how these are made. I saw some examples on this site www.customcraftltd.com but couldn’t find any plans.

Any help will be greatly appreciated

I have a slide top box generator out on Thingiverse Slide Top Rabbet Box (Customizer for 3D Printers and CNC) by OpenScadDad - Thingiverse
It will create STL files which you can import into Easel Pro. If you find the Thingiverse customizer troublesome, I can help you generate the shapes if you know the exterior dimensions you want the end product to be.
