Thanks in advance for any help. I have an upgraded X-Carve 1000x1000. I was in the middle of a cut today when the X axes seemed to bind up. First thought was the motor. After testing the motor and even hooking up to another motor, it still did not work. All the connections seem fine. Any ideas where to look?
check for loose connections, both ends of the wiring… sometimes you may find burnt contacts in the white connector at the stepper end. Other times you might find loose wires at the controller at the green terminal blocks…
Thanks Seth, I have done a bunch of tests and it looks like the chip in the main board is bad. I know I did not move anything to cause a back feed to the board but everything is pointing to that. Thanks for your help.
