Since you said “45mm thick-walled” which sounds bigger than 40x40 I didn’t realize you were referring to replacing the original X axis, so the problem I was referring to would be how to connect to a second extrusion since the X carriage rides on the outside of the first one.
Hey I’m trying to find a way to expand my X-Carve to be 1000x2000 mm. Any suggestions about where to start? Obviously I’ll need two meter extrusions but I’m not sure what else. Please send suggestions. Mostly I need to figure out the parts I’ll need to accomplish this. Thank you!
