X-Carve at Rockler

I have an X-Carve and was recently at rockler by my house(Bolingbrook) and the table they have it on is awesome. It looks very sturdy and it had a laptop stand mounted on it. Where can I get that same table?

Did you take pictures? I just went to the tickler website and could not even fine the x carve

I have not seen them advertise one yet. I know they have them in the stores but i have never seen one on there web site or catalogs.

Hey @KyleSlack1 they sell the table legs at Rockler. You can use any top. The Rockler store doesnā€™t carry wood that size in the store but you can order it from them online or you can get it from any local home center.

I have the X-carve 1000mmx1000mm table. I was just in the Rockler store in Orland Park. Could you tell me where you bought that table where the X-carve is sitting on in the photo. I asked the store and they said Inventables provided the table. They said that Inventables ordered the table for them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you
Lisa

Hello Kyle. I know this is a very old post but I was wondering did you find where to buy the parts for the table. I was just at Rocklers store in Orland Park and the table the X-carve was sitting on is exactly what I need. The sturdy metal frame with wheels and laptop stand.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you
Lisa

Was it this?

We bought the legs that they sell in the Rockler store so they could be purchased by customers that wanted to make the same table. Rockler doesnā€™t sell a table top that is large enough to hold the X-Carve. For the top we got it from Lowes and had it cut down from a 4x8 foot sheet. Itā€™s a Melamine board and in store they had grey but online it looks like they only sell white.

Hi, I know Iā€™m necro-lifing this thread again. Iā€™m a long time first gen X-carve owner that keeps failing to re-launch, and finally have 3 weeks off this Xmas to give it a go again. My X-carve has been collecting dust in an upstairs room for far too long, and the bench it used to be on has since been sacrificed.

I found this thread searching on Rockler and ā€˜shop standā€™. I also tried searching ā€˜Material Mateā€™ but did not find anything that was apparently relevant; apologies if I missed a prior discussion.

Rockler sells this ā€œMaterial Mateā€ handling cart that looks like it might make a useful stand and allow the ability to pivot the tabletop (AFTER clamping in some support for the X carriage of course to prevent damage/stretching to the belts, etc.) for a bit of space savings between use: https://www.rockler.com/rockler-material-mate-panel-cart-and-shop-stand

Anyone tried that, or have any immediate ā€œdonā€™t be stupid!ā€ thoughts for me? Iā€™m torn between the Material Mate and the indicated Rockler shop stand base as just a basic leg set. For the Material Mate there are downloadablle plans for an under-tabletop caddy that could act as tool storage and placement for the controller (Yes, I might need a bit more wiring length). Iā€™d probably also want to reinforce the tableā€™s ā€˜levelā€™ lock instead of just the sort of ā€˜clipā€™ they use currently while in use. But the weight rating of the Material Mate (150lbs) seems enough for a wasteboard, machine, and material being milled.
