Setup my X-Carve Pro with the guided setup in Easel and just saw the spindle setting is set to Dewalt 611… is this correct?
I have yet to find anything that effects.
However if automatic vs manual is selected in the General Settings then the resulting gcode will include the turn on/off and the speed entered.
I think the spindle selection right there n your photo might just be to make the user feel good about selecting the right one 
If anybody else has insight to this dropdown actually effecting anything I’d love to hear what they’ve found
