Hi guys, just wondering if anyone knows if an x controller will work with a zenbot 4 by 8 machine
Way too little info to accurately answer.
The Xcontroller is a GRBL-based machine controller. It’s limited by GRBL, the 24V power supply, and the stepper drivers that it uses.
It’s rated to produce a max of 4A (or it was, I think they’ve lowered that rating slightly due to a smaller PSU) into each stepper output.
The Zenbot website just says the rated torque of the steppers but not their current rating or any other specs.
It might work but without hard specs, it’s hard to say if it would or if it could do it well enough to get the potential out of the machine.
