i have a X-Controller and want to add a DC spindles because is more quit when cutting with this spindle.
can i used the x-controller for power DC spindles or i need to purchase an external power supply?
i know that i need to connected PWM signal and GND to the spindle speed controller PWM screw terminals.
I think it more depends on what DC spindle you want to use. I think the quiet cut 300w will work directly with the X-Controller.
The X-Controller has no external power output.
Your DC Spindle needs it own power supply.

The power supply in the X-Controller is only 24V, and has NO external outputs.
Yes you need the external power supply.
The spindle show in the picture is the same one I have.
It uses the 48 volts to drive the motor.
