XCarve moving in wrong direction with Grbl controller

I am trying with Grbl 3.6.1 by Zapmaker as my controller. I zero the bit but once I start the carve, the X-Carve shoots off to the distant corner.

I saw that BadWolf mentioned something like this sometime ago, but do not know if a solution was found.

I have tested with Easel and it works perfectly.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

When I encountered that w/ Grbl Controller, it was caused by an unsupported G-code:

I believe that Easel does some filtering of G-code so as to avoid this sort of thing.
