Can the xcarve work with hughes net?

Probably, Easel only need internet access upon opening/reading or saving design and dont really care if its via ethernet/mobile/satelitte link.
Should not be a problem, we have really crappy 4G connection and the developers at Inventables made changes that made a slow / crappy connection work pretty well after some initial issues.
We haven’t had any issues in months.
That is good to know.
This place will only have about 1g. But that is good to know.
