Have an xcarve 1000mm. Haven’t turned it on in over 2 years. Trying to start up again. When moving y axis it shutters and looks like one side moves slightly first.
Help me please.
Looks like your left side is dead and the right is doing all the work, check your wiring.
If wire connections look good, switch Y1 and Y2 at the X Controller and see if the left pulls the right along

I have the same problem. I’ll try swapping out the motors also to see it that’s the cause. Would it be less work to remove the straps and see of the motor moves at all? Not trying to be lazy just seeing if there’s a quicker/simpler way to find out if the motor is dead.
