newbie here just set everything up and my y axis are trying to go in different directions
and my x axis is stepping no smooth movement
see this thread which I posted in today. It sounds like you have one motor wiring reversed. See the wiring picture and check to make sure the wires are secure. I had a ground wire loosen up for one Y motor and it was nasty.
