I haven’t yet carved carved lots of things but I’m noticing the Y steppers, particularly the one on the right side sound like someone playing a scale. The “notes” get higher as it moves toward the rear of the machine and get higher as it comes back forward. Load does seem to effect the pitch. Anyone else experience this? Any idea what might be?
Inventables didn’t even charge extra for the music! I’m relieved to know they all do that. Thanks very much

I noticed that when I was cutting a large oval, its got to do with the frequency the motors are turning, and as shown above, you can make it play music. Years ago, someone was also able to do something similar with a pen plotter and a special CAD drawing.
