In the Y direction, I have over 100/1000 difference. I did a little searching and there is a comment out there about flattening the waste board. But I’ve a problem with that… If I flatten the waste board, since I can’t reach the edge of the board, if I want something larger carved (tiling), the board will be up on this one edge.
Is there another solution?

Well the new modular wasteboard corrects this issue by using a smaller Y tall portion from the get go.
So I’m assuming you have the older wasteboard style and the solution there is a second wasteboard atop the stock one… like this
