Z Axis Doesn't Move During Z-Probe

Hello!

I just setup my “new” 750mm xcarve that I got used from a friend. It works great for all of the carves that I have done with the manual work home settings, but I can’t get the z-probe function to work.

I can successfully connect the z-probe and Easel shows a good connection, I connect the clamp to the collet, and get a good check when I tap the probe to the bit. When I click “Start Probing” it switches to the next screen and says “Probing Material” but the z axis doesn’t move at all.

I know the Z-axis is working since I can home the machine, jog the z axis, and complete carves with manual work home settings.

Is there any special trick to get the z axis to move on the probing screen? Is there some sort of software bug I need to workaround?

Just incase anybody finds this in the future, I had to re-setup the machine and make sure the selected profile matched the new setup.

I had setup the machine a few times in Easel, so when I went to make a cut it had an older profile selected. I deleted all of the profiles then made a new machine profile, and it’s working great now!
