I’m new to the X-carve and have only made a few cuts so far. All have bad edges due to a wobble on the Z-axis when moving up down. I’ve attempted to adjust the wheels to find the proper balance but nothing I do makes any difference. Has anyone else seen this and know what else I can try? My machine is basically worthless right now.
There have been cases in the past where the acme rod is not perfectly straight and needed replacement… That might be the first place I’d look. Maybe look at how it connects up to the motor. Take it apart and re assemble it?
