Nope. Just get a cheap banana plug connector and you’re back in business.
By cheap I mean one that’s not gold plated and meant for fancy audio setups.
Had the same problem. Amazon sells them by the dozen, very inexpensive. Five minute fix. All X-carve problems should be as easy as this to fix.
Yes, I ordered a new plug on ebay. You can order as few as one.
