And would this work for very thin acrylic materials? looking to deal with 1/16" plastic for sign engraving and have had a very tough time holding it in place without it pulling up in the center as soon as the bit touches.
Yes. I cut thin plastic more than any other material.
I’ve cut .01 styrene with no problems.
