Hi guys wondering if any of you guys have engraved into slate with the x carve if so what bits did you use looking at making a logo and a few words on it slate is about 20mm thick many thanks again guys

I’m guessing that slate should be relatively easy to carve, but there’s nothing like getting a few pieces and doing some test carves. I’ve successfully cut marble (which was actually easier to cut that some hardwoods) using carbide tipped V bits.
