Cuts are off by 1/16th

Im cutting with a 1/8 upcut and it keeps shaving off 1/16th, even on the inside cuts. Is there a specific setting I need to adjust to get the correct cuts?

Looking at some of the other solutions on the forum, it looks like you have to modify your models by adding an additional 1/16th? That doesn’t sound right…why would you design a machine that makes specific cuts and its always off by 1/16th… :expressionless:

Have you calibrated the machine? If not you probably need to do so. I’d invest in a machinist rule or digital caliper as well for some accurate measuring.

You need to calibrate every once in a while. Belts stretch… stuff happens. Factory settings are a close approximation, but true accuracy for your particular machine requires you dial it in.

I resquared and tightened the belts and screws.
I modified the xcontrollers potentiometers to x/y = 3.2a and z = 1.6a due to the nema 17 motors (2016 machine)
SOLUTION
I followed the calibration steps that you provided and this resolved the issue.

Thank you for taking the time to help me. Happy Milling!
