I have the Solid Carbide 2 Flute Spiral Upcut Ball Nose End, What would this be used for?

This is all new to me, I literally got my X-Carve running at 11:30pm last night ! So 3d cuts ?

Absolutely. You can cut full 3d with X-Carve

Latest attempt at relief carving

This design was bought on ebay and then the gcode was made in artcam. The roughing was done with a 3mm flat bit and the finishing was done with a 1.5mm bullnose. The roughing I did with easel but i was not able to make easel work on the finishing pass. Easel kept crashing when it was supposed to start carving. I ended up using G code sender for the finishing pass. I’m guessing that it was just to much data for Easel to process. The g-code file for the finish is 20MB. [image]

I’m Curious as to the size of your machine and how it’s setup, The carving bits and everything. I WISH I could things like that. It’s a Beautiful piece of art. I wish I could talk to you so that I could learn and set mine up for that stuff.
