No traced in V-carve Pro.
Ok so how do I fix that? I did not change the jpg file to greyscale .
Lesson learned I searched Brunswick Images and took the 1st one I found.
A 22deg Vbit would give you similar results just use a larger tool to hog out the unnecessary material and edge it with the vbit. You can draw a boarder vector around the letters to help keep the larger bit from chipping away the detail.
The other thing you could do is to use the v bit to cut in for the Trade and Mark (not have the letters stick out but sunk in) ??
There you go again.
Ok so I did the tool path for V-carve and it just totally removed the Trade but left the Mark. Also it will not let me do a profile cut to cut out the sign. Frustrations aboundâŚ
When using a Vbit detail path, you will want to make the profile cut in a separate work piece. You can duplicate the work piece, then delete everything but the profile.
Found the Trade for some reason I had the 1/4" bit in for clearance instead of the 1/8" bit.
When I select the profile it wants to cut though on all lines not just the outside of the sign.
Figured it out created a vector box around sign
Are you working in VCarve?
Yes I figured it out sometimes âBrain Farts Just Happenâ
Ok, sorry, I was giving directions in Easel.
That $h!t will sneak up on you
100% better so far thanks for all the help folks.
Thatâs using a compression bit.
And I just blew a breaker in the middle. hopefully I can get it started again.
It will clean up with the V-bit portion of the carve?
